Sylvia Robinson was an American singer, musician, record producer, and record label executive. Robinson had two R&B chart toppers. She was half of Mickey & Sylvia with “Love Is Strange” in 1957. Her solo record “Pillow Talk” topped the charts in 1973. Robinson started Sugar Hill record label back in the 70’s. Robinson was a part of the 1950’s era dual Mickey and Sylvia which recorded ‘Love is Strange’.  Her latest single was ‘Pillow Talk’, a sexy R&B and pop hit. She sang, played piano and guitar, wrote as well as produced music.
